Caleya por Belén Fernández de Tejer en Inglés

El Caleya es un jersey que se teje de arriba abajo en circular, sin costuras. Tiene una construcción tradicional de manga raglán y las “costuras” del raglán del delantero están formadas por unos paneles de punto elástico retorcido que bajan por todo el cuerpo, girando gradualmente hacia el centro del delantero. El patrón viene con 9 tallas de hombre y 9 tallas de mujer. Una “caleya” en asturiano es un callejuela estrecha en un pueblo.

Cómo elegir tu talla: mide tu contorno de pecho, añade la holgura recomendada (+15-25 cm) y encuentra en la tabla de medidas el contorno de pecho de la prenda terminada que más se aproxime a esa cifra. Asegúrate de que tu tensión coincide con la que se indica para que tu jersey tenga las mismas medidas

Caleya is a top-down sweater knitted in the round, without seam. It has a traditional raglan-sleeve construction and the front raglan “seams” are formed by a ribbed panel that goes all the way down the body, gradually turning in towards the middle at the end. It comes in 9 sizes for men and 9 sizes for women. “Caleya” is the name for a narrow lane in a village in the dialect spoken in Asturias, the northern Spanish region where I was born.
